Our newly completed apartment scheme in Chapelizod which provides for 30 apartments within two 4-storey blocks was just recently handed over. Working in collaboration with Contractor Grant Fit Out, M&E Consultants RM Breen and Fire Consultants GSP Fire on what was a challenging site and build, we carried out the role of Project Architect, Civil and Structural Engineers and Project Managers. The compact site is within a designated Architectural Conservation Area and is bounded on 3 sides, where the steep topography presented considerable engineering challenges in terms of access and gradients and significant retaining structures were incorporated into the design to address these issues.
